BIOL 2252 - Dendrology

Course provides students with extensive field experience identifying native and introduced trees and shrubs–both in summer and winter condition. Also considered are ecological relationships among woody plants in the temperate deciduous forest. Wood structure is studied and some practice in identifying wood is provided.
