STAT 1800 - Business StatisticsCredits: 5 This course introduces students to statistical methods by focusing on statistics and its applications from a business perspective. Statistical literacy and the development of statistical thinking using real data are emphasized. Topics include: organizing and summarizing categorical and quantitative data using descriptive and graphical methods, estimation, and hypothesis testing. The course will implement the use of technology as a catalyst for critical thinking. Prereq: MATH 1200 lecture hours 5 Course/Lab Fee $ General Education Program Course GEP
