Study of the occurrence, origin, composition, structure, and evolution of igneous and metamorphic rocks. Physical and chemical classification of rocks based upon mineralogy and textures. Introduction to thin-section petrography. Prereq: GEOL 2203 lecture hours 3 lab hours 2 Course/Lab Fee $
