EDIS 2252 - Move/Hlth/Adapt Tech Except Need

Credits: 3
Health and medical conditions and their implications for learning and prevention. Generic medical terminology and the effects of various factors (i.e., nutrition, genetics, neurology) on the educational, cognitive, physical, social, and emotional behavior of individuals with exceptionalities. Examination of how technology can assist with planning and managing learning environments, inclusive of alternative communication and learning systems for special needs students. Prereq: EDUC 1115 and admission in Level 1 Teacher Ed. Coreq: EDIS 2250 Course/Lab Fee $
