DTHY 2215 - General and Oral Pathology

An introduction to pathology. Discussion includes the processes of inflammation, necrosis, retrograde changes, and wound healing. Etiologies, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of oral lesions, as well as pathology of diseases affecting teeth and their supporting structures are considered. Prereq: Admission in the Dental Hygiene program. Course/Lab Fee $
