BSNR 3230 - Professional Nursing Care of Childbearing Families

Credits: 3
Introduces professional holistic nursing care for culturally diverse childbearing families.  Follows the childbearing family through pre-pregnancy, antepartal, intrapartal, postpartal, and neonatal periods.  Addresses women’s health issues and genetic considerations.  Presents evidence-based practice, health care policies and financing trends, ethical, and legal concepts specific to the childbearing family. Prereq: BSNR 3130, BSNR 3140 and BSNR 3343 Coreq: BSNR 3270 lecture hours 1.5 lab hours 1.5 Course/Lab Fee $
