BSNR 3343 - Introduction to Nursing ResearchCredits: 3 This course investigates the significance of research in nursing with emphasis on the scientific approach and its application in evidence-based nursing practice. The major components of the research process are addressed with a focus on the professional nurse as a consumer of research. Critical thinking skills are emphasized in the analysis of current nursing research. Prereq: MATH 1500 and admission to RN-BSN program or non-degree students with instructor permission. 3 lecture hours $
