EDIS 4485 - Application of Research and Practice Internship and Seminar

Curriculum, instruction, and evaluation field-based practicum with a weekly seminar to holistically describe the field environment—intervention specialist’s role, materials, methods, degree of collaboration, aid usage, and ways to make each component more effective. Students apply the skills and knowledge gained in university courses to the school setting as they practice teaching methods, literacy strategies, evaluation, and assessment techniques, and classroom management with faculty and staff in their educational setting.
