ARTH 3453 - Baroque and Rococo Art

This course will examine the artistic developments that took place during the Baroque period. It will examine the emergence of artistic trends, styles, and ways of moralizing through the arts, leading to innovative artistic productions. Class lectures are organized using a regional approach in order to better understand the diverse influences that shaped the arts during the Baroque period.Prereq: ARTH 1101 or ARTH 2211 and 2212 $
