ARTH 3451 - Renaissance Art

This course will examine the notion of cultural “rebirth,” which embodies the Renaissance period.  It will examine the role of patronage and the emergence of artistic personalities and business practices. Class lecture will be structured to emphasize the diverse influences that shaped the arts during the Italian Renaissance.Prereq: ARTH 1101 or ARTH 2211 $
